Graphic User Interface

Rough sketches for the GUI of the main menu. We will incorporate elements of sound, and possibly animation. The concept is to evoke a sense of nostalgia in the viewers, as the video is targeted for older audience. The background is a photo of old buildings from the town of Ipoh.

Proposal

Place
Our chosen place for this project is lpoh.

Demographics
Tourists or backpackers who are interested in experiencing the cultural diversity that is evident in Ipoh and historical buildings and architecture dating back to the British colonial times; also pensioners who are looking for a relaxing time in a quiet town, away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities.

Why
Ipoh is an underrated town, relatively unknown even though it is rich with culture and history. Furthermore, it is also the more convenient choice as it is the hometown of one of our members and is within a relatively reachable distance.

Individual tasks
Architecture - Nurul Farhana
We will list down some examples of distinctive architectural properties present in Ipoh. Pictures will also be provided along with perhaps some brief introduction regarding the different buildings.

History - Nurasyikin
A highlight on the history of Ipoh and how it came to be, the meaning of its name, etc. Plus some old pictures of Ipoh during the earlier days when it was still a small mining town.

Culture - Fatimah Zafira
An introduction to the cultural points of Ipoh. Also included are a few examples of places of interest for the benefit of the tourists.

Food - Kudzai Gumbo
The unique taste of Ipoh is potrayed here through pictures of different local cuisine and food-stuff that are available in this small town, including it's location plus some recipes if available.

This is a blog created for the purposes of listing down the progress of our Media Authoring project. Yeah, that's right. There ain't no juicy gossips here.

I deeply appologize for the delay. Due to some unforeseen circumstances we have moved our group blog. Please update your links to http://baschman-begins.blogspot.com/. Our group name is 'Baschman Begins'. The name originated from a certain FFXII fanmade poster parody of Batman Begins which I stumbled upon on the net featuring the character, Basch von Rosenburg.
